Initial Thoughts It has been my dream for quite some time to kick the gym membership and build my own garage gym. I finally saved up enough change in the piggy bank to buy a nice rack that would last me a while. I don’t like writing long, exhaustive reviews, so I will just say that this cage absolutely fits the bill.

The instructions that were included covered everything in detail. After it was assembled this thing was rock solid. No sway, no wobbling, no squeaking. You get the sense of absolute safety a rig like this is intended for. The materials and welds are all top quality. The rack is solid. I also purchased a very high quality adjustable bench to go with it as well as Olympic bars and plates.

This Rogue RM-6 rack replaced an old system and have been quite pleased, especially at this price point. This rack is primarily used for squatting, DL partials, pull-ups, zpress and paused bench work. The amount of accessory work that can be done with this thing is far to long to list. I frequently have up to 335 lbs racked at squat level without any issue. The rack feels quite sturdy in that regard and I feel confident putting more weight on there as I progress. I’ve done DL partials with 225 lbs on the safety pins and they seem to handle it quite well.

I’ve now had this rack for several months now and this thing is still rock-solid as day one. The attachments are all extremely heavy duty, feels secure under load, the paint hasn’t chipped off, it’s just an all around nice rig and high quality. I am confident that I will one day be able to pass it down to my son.

Okay, honestly 99% of you do not need this.. you probably will never squat 1,000 pounds to shake this monster, but who cares. The coolness factor is 10/10… however for financial reasons you should consider looking into the RM-4 Monster Rack. It’s just as solid, takes up less space, and $600 cheaper.

Side Notes If you lift alone, please get the Safety Spotter Arms. They are true life-savers. — The single pull-up bar is the way to go, don’t bother with the fat/skinny. — Need a High Quality Weight Bench that accepts Preacher Curl and Leg Extension/Curl Attachments.. Search Amazon for XM-7472 Bench
